    Establishment of a Temporary Restricted Area (TRA) for the RAAF Roulettes display team performing over the Brisbane Showgrounds (Bowen Hills) on 14 August 2024.

    The issue

    The RAAF Roulette Aerobatic display team will be performing over the Brisbane Showgrounds (Bowen Hills) on 14 August 2024. Planned events will temporarily affect YBBN, YBAF CTA/R and a portion of OCTA to the South West.

    Purpose

    To ensure public safety, a proposed TRA is to be established for Roulettes aerial displays overhead Brisbane Showgrounds (Bowen Hills) on the 14 August 2024. Department of Defence requests feedback on this proposal from local area stakeholders including Brisbane and Archerfield Airport operators.

    Proposal

    TRA for 6 x PC-21 aerial display is to be established overhead Brisbane Showgrounds (Bowen Hills), within 5nm OCTA / 3nm CTA of PSN27ᵒ27’01”S 153ᵒ02’03”E , SFC - A060, for a 25 minute period on Wednesday 14 August 2024. Approximate timings: 12:10 pm to 12:35 pm local (0210Z to 0235Z). Check NOTAM for confirmed timings.
