Proposed Temporary Danger Area (TDA) to support the Corryong Cup, a cross-country hang gliding competition, run from Saturday 7 January to 14 January 2023.
The issue
The Corryong Cup Hang Gliding Competition will be held from 7 January 2023 to 14 January 2023 inclusive. Hours of operation from 0700 to 2000 local time (AEDT).
Purpose
To seek feedback on a proposed TDA due to Hang Gliding Competition activity.
To warn other airspace users of the residual airspace risk posed by the activity, it is proposed that a TDA be established in Class E and G airspace. Every morning, the organisers will advise of usage/non-usage of the TDA between 0700 and 2000 AEDT.
TDA Corryong Lateral Limits: 362424S 1474000E – 360048S 1471724E – 353954S 1482830E - 360048S 1482812E – 362424S 1474000E.
TDA Corryong Vertical Limits: Surface to 12,500 Feet Above Mean Sea Level (AMSL).
