2025 Corryong Cup Hang Gliding Competition

To establish a temporary danger area (TDA) for the duration of the Corryong Cup Hang Gliding Competition from 4 January 2025 - 11 January 2025.

The issue

To warn other airspace users of the residual airspace risk posed by an activity involving up to 75 Hang Gliders in the Corryong Area from 4 January 2025 - 11 January 2025. 

Purpose

To seek feedback on a proposed TDA to support a Hang Gliding competition.

Proposal

• The proposed TDA will be in place from 08:00 to 18:00 (local time) daily. 
• The proposed vertical limits of the TDA will extend to 12,500 feet above mean sea level (AMSL) in class E airspace. 
• The lateral limits are as follows 362424S 1474000E – 360048S 1471724E – 353954S 1482830E - 360048S 1482812E – 362424S 1474000E.
